Could you please clarify, do you see a confirmation popup when you click the Delete button (see screenshot) ?

Hi, is this issue still persist maybe? I've tried to delete titles from a watchlist but they are not removed. After clicking the delete button a window pops-up asking if I'm sure and when choosing ok nothing happens. Tried another (desktop) browser but the issue recurred. Thanks.

Turns out this is a known problem. Could you please read this thread? The point is to give rights to the Subscriber, but that defies common sense, doesn't it?

Max Romanchenko: Hm... I see what you mean. But can't users delete their own content? They themselves add the relationship to their own account, so they should be able to delete their own relationships? It's very weird. Thanks for researching.

Amrayu78 Yes it's weird and misleading, but that's the way it works now. The [cred-delete-relationship] shortcode is designed so that in order to break the relationship between a Watchlist and a Drama, you need to have publishing/editing privileges on those posts. And while that's true for Watchlist, it's not true for Drama. That's why the shortcode doesn't show up for subscriber.

I've for now put back the deprecated [cred_delete_post_link] shortcode (only on the wotchlist template), which does the same thing but caused errors in the past (we recently changed this across the entire site as it was causing errors).

Let's see how things go with it now.

There are other ways... But I'd like it to be simple and of course automatic. Let's leave this issue open, and see if any problems arise with the current setup. If so, I think I'll find a way around it.

Max Romanchenko: Hi Max, the user has tried again and the deletion button works to an extent. Here's their message:

so I was able to delete the title (slgs) from the watchlist but I wanted to confirm so I added it again and now on the drama page there's an indication that the title is in my watchlist but when I go to my watchlist I don't see it there, the list appears empty. the same is true for the other 2 dramas that I had there (akai ringo and fictional). I previously thought you or the dev deleted them for me but maybe they were still there and I just couldn't see them. that's how things look on my side. let me know if I can help with anything.

sorry for the late answer. I'm still doing research. The problems are definitely related to the outdated shortcode, which I reverted after we figured out that subscriber can't disconnect the relationship between posts.

I need more time to find some sort of solution. Thank you!

I think I was able to find a solution and fix the problems that dear Shnootsi faced.

I tested everything from my subscriber account and everything works as it should.
