Oshi Spot Type Enhancement
complete
Amrayu78
I'd like for users to distinguish between the different location types for Oshi Types.
Fontawesome icons:
Everything else https://fontawesome.com/icons/location-dot?f=classic&s=solid (or whatever you chose already for location dot)
In edit view (see mockup):
- Allow a user to select the Type (dropdown? radio button? whatever fits in that space)
In front-end view (see mockups):
- Oshi spots tab for Dramas, Movies, SPs, People, Groups (edit and saved views)
- Oshi spots widget (front page)
- Custom Lists
- Oshi Spot Index

Max Romanchenko: Sorry, another enhancement for Oshi Spots. Thank you!
Max Romanchenko
Amrayu78 Hi Duong, I fixed it, please check it out.
Amrayu78
Max Romanchenkochecked some of it and it looks good already! I’ll check the rest later today.
I have a question though. Some places may be shared with other dramas, is it possible to reuse an Oshi spot? Sorry for making this more complicated. In a way, an oshi spot is like an actor or crew. It’s a one to many relationship.
Max Romanchenko
Amrayu78 Hi Duong, I understand what you want. Unfortunately this is not possible in the current set-up.
Let me describe it in more detail.
Drama and Actor is a “many to many” type of relationship
Drama and Oshi Spot is a “one to many” type of relationship
So this requires a change in relationship type, which means losing data and adapting all existing views. It's not a big deal, you just have to be aware of it, I think.
But for that we need to change the relationship type and probably change the mocap how it should look like, since users will now not only create but also connect existing places and dramas/movies/specials/people/groups.
There's not much data right now, only 23 places. I can manually recreate these relationships because when I change the relationship type, the data is lost.
Please let me know if I have understood correctly and I will proceed with the changes.

Max Romanchenko Thanks for explaining. I only thought about this since I wanted to expand this feature more. Please wait for me to mock it up. We do not have many entries yet. This may become like a simpler watchlist type of feature, where users can add spots to their “map” list, and then tag it if they “want to visit” or “visited” and add notes if they want. Sorry for this extra work. I’ll pay you extra for wasting this time. 😩 wait for me to mock some things up then.
Max Romanchenko
Amrayu78 Sure, no problem!
Can I change the type of existing relationship for now while you prepare the mocap? It won't change anything in the frontend, but it's better to make it now before there's too much data. Thanks!
Amrayu78
Max Romanchenko: yes go ahead and make changes to the existing relationship. So far it’s only 2-3 people adding to it.
Max Romanchenko
Amrayu78 Got it, thanks.

Max Romanchenko: This enhancement is good to go. Will close this out.
