Fansubbers unable to associate their profiles to SubProjects
Amrayu78
A contributor is reporting that they are having issues with associating their fansubber profile to a subtitle project:
aoinousagi (rid) is trying to add this to her fansubber profile.

Max Romanchenko There also seems to be an issue (perhaps related as well) where despite the sub project being associated to a drama or movie page it doesn't show up on the main page as having a sub project. For example on the page for Yips there is no subtitle project showing and yet a subtitle project ahs been associated with it -
(drama page) - https://drama-otaku.com/drama/yips/
(sub project) https://drama-otaku.com/subtitle-project/yips/

Cat This might be related, but I really need help with testing. Maybe the user edited the subtitle project from this area in the dashboard (see screenshot)? Is it possible to ask the user for details? Any information on how this happened would be very helpful. I tried and couldn't reproduce this trick...
Max Romanchenko
Cat Ok I've done some tests and confirm that editing subtitle projects in dashboard (on the screenshot) produced a broken connection between the project and the title. I fixed it. Perhaps it was the cause of the bug.
I also fixed this one

Max Romanchenko Thanks Max! Will do some testing myself later and make sure all is working fine but if we get any more issues we'll be sure to let you know :)

Max Romanchenko: Urgent bug.
Max Romanchenko
Amrayu78 I'm already looking into it.

Amrayu78 I could not reproduce the problem, maybe my tests are different from aoinousagi ?
I created a test contributor account.
- then I created a test drama.
- then I created a test provider
- then I created a test subtitle project for that drama and connected that project to the test provider.
At what point exactly are there problems?
Also, I see that the project is already linked to aoinousagi....
I attach a screenshot and video of my tests.

Max Romanchenko: This actually happened to 2 fansubbers. They create a new Subtitle Project and try to associate their fansubber profile. It doesn't allow them. After they save, they are able to edit/add their fansubber profile.
I fixed the other project already. aoinousagi fixed her subtitle project after she saved. She had to go back in and associate.

Amrayu78 It might be related to a specific browser or network settings, I can't reproduce it from my side. Could you please ask them to add a test project and record a video? I really want to see and understand what is causing it and fix it, but I need help identifying the problem. The form for adding a project is identical to the editing form, that's weird.

Max Romanchenko Let's monitor the issue then. I'll ask the user to report and record the issue if it happens again.

Amrayu78 Thank you!
